Artist Description

A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis compelled me to slow down, embrace stillness, and find meaning within the rhythms of everyday life. Among those rhythms are the monthly infusions that have become part of my ongoing treatment.

This photograph employs double exposure to juxtapose the stark clinical environment of the infusion center with the soft, organic forms of clouds drifting across a bright sky outside. By dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior, the image creates a space where memory, perception, and lived experience overlap, inviting multiple interpretations while reflecting the complexity of navigating chronic illness.

Drawing on my background in commercial photography, graphic design, and education, my digital photography-based practice transforms ordinary moments and familiar places into quiet visual meditations. Through poetic documentary imagery, I explore resilience, presence, and the subtle beauty that can emerge within the routines of daily life.
