Artist Description

Drawing from my background in photography, graphic design, and a Southern upbringing, I combine alternative photographic techniques—such as long exposures and nontraditional light sources—with everyday scenes and familiar subjects to create poetic documentary images.

I am interested in photographing not only what was present, but what I felt and believed I saw: moments revealed between light and camera. My images often blur the boundaries of time and place, inviting viewers to experience them through emotion rather than certainty.

Whether trees glowing with heightened color beneath moonlight or an ordinary commute that has been transformed into something fleeting and extraordinary, I aim to preserve the brief moments when the familiar becomes uncanny—experiences that disappear almost as quickly as they emerge, but linger in memory long afterward.
