Artist Description

I have been exploring expressive paintings recently, “playing” with materials and processes to loosen up, after taking a break from my creative life.  (A recent diagnosis required some time off and the recovery has sped up since I’ve started creating again.)  This scene is made from many layers and visual movement…just like my life at this point. I like the unexpected flow of the choppy water at the bottom, the stable land forms in the center and the older growth in the back.  The combination of color, texture and movement can be an expression of one’s life.
