This plein air painting was completed after a rare snow accumulation (for Augusta, GA) earlier this year. Our hedge had collected enough snow to create miniature snowbanks, which were mesmerizing in the mid morning light. This study is an attempt to capture the duality of freezing temperatures and the warmth of sunlight.
