Artist Description

This painting is part of the “Day Is Done Series” seeking a new version of the cliche sunset theme. The work consists of using original  digital imagery as the initial layer. The printing is on heavy paper with archival inks of the highest quality using a professional printing service. I adhere the paper on wood panel in preparation to paint. By painting on the imagery, I edit, compose, and weave a visual abstract narrative to complete the work.
