Artist Description
This painting is a goodbye to a dear traveler friend who passed away after a trip to Portugal. The work consists of using original digital imagery as the initial layer. The printing is on heavy paper with archival inks of the highest quality using a professional printing service. I adhere the paper on wood panel in preparation to paint. By painting on the imagery, I edit, compose, and weave a visual abstract narrative to complete the work.
