Woman’s Best Friend

This watercolor is of a friend’s best friend, Milo. Dogs have a way of bringing joy and balance into one’s life. This watercolor reflects Milo’s ability to be a calming presence in my friend’s life. Milo is nestled into a plush blanket, rendered in watercolor wash. His coat utilizes a rich, warm palette of sienna, sepia, and golden tones with touches of pale lavender for shading of his white blaze.
