If one is lucky enough to slow down and pay attention, nature has a way of rewarding him/her with an image of gold. In this painting, three American goldfinches rest quietly among layers of leaves, their brilliant yellow feathers blending into the vibrant background. At first glance, the birds seem hidden, inviting viewers to slow down, explore the composition, and discover the beauty tucked within the foliage.

Painted in acrylic on a 18″ × 24″ canvas, this work celebrates the harmony and subtle camouflage found in nature.
