Artist Description
I have a green cut glass pitcher that was my grandmother’s. When pink roses in my yard are in bloom, they find their way to the pitcher. It always makes me think of her. My work is not representational, but an abstraction; it evokes the scene of the subject and the feel of the moment. I concentrate on the desire to see blocks of color, translucent colors, shadows and textures.
