Medium Description

Produced on cradle board, forms are used in modified colors that are opaque or translucent; Eastern papers, painted papers and found objects are used along with a variety of textures that are painted or printed in acrylic, oil sticks or watercolors and are presented in overlapped layers and repeated patterns.

Artist Description

I like to sit beside lakes and rivers after a hike.  I imagine what’s underneath the surface.  I listen to the sounds the water makes, the animals.  The sun and the clouds dictate the colors on any given day. Memories and materials, past and present, influence design decision making. I’m fascinated with cut paper, color,  tissue paper and other collage materials I find along my way.
