Golden Star Gasthaus

Medium Description

My paper is Arches, Cold press 140lb. My watercolors is Winsor Newton. I used the standard watercolor technique of layering my colors. I am generally realistic or exact in my style. I did use Holbein watercolors of metallic gold for the star one the side of the building

Artist Description

Many years ago I was  in the Army I was station in Germany and enjoyed it so much I went back numerous times. My latest visit was last year on a Viking course. This gasthaus was typical of my experience of living in Germany. A gasthaus is a meeting place to meet friends, family  and enjoy good food, wine and beer. And in some cases good music.  All the food, wines and beer is local.
