I have a fascination for two major things in my works. Mountains and clouds. For this piece, I improvised a composition from scratch, rather than working from pictures I’ve taken. This piece took several months and I had to overcome many obstacles when creating it. The final product depicts a cowboy who is amazed by what nature has put forth before him. In a way, that cowboy is a reflection of myself as he enjoys the same things I do.
