About 40 years ago I took some photos on Front Ave. in Columbus, Georgia of some buildings slated for demolition to make way for part of the renovations that have transformed downtown into a vibrant and interesting place to live or visit. While revisiting those photos recently, I picked one to make this painting of a long gone gas station.
