Artist Description

My work is often inspired by travel and adventure experiences. This past spring, I went backpacking on the Appalachian Trail and spent a weekend in the Road Highlands. When I take the time to get outdoors and hike/camp, it’s always a good mental break from the everyday routine. It also amazes me at what a beautiful part of the country we live in. Time spent in the woods is a reminder that we don’t need all of the “things” that we accumulate and what we really need to do is preserve and conserve nature.
