I Won’t Find Home Here

My artwork is centered around identity, and how at times, one has to accept parts of oneself that they are ashamed of. These aspects of oneself may be who their family is, past experiences or relationships, and actions. This work focuses on a moment where the perception one has of their life and family falls apart after realizing the reality of the circumstances. The attempt to find stability in an extremely uncertain and fragile moment, and clinging to what is closest.
