Leaves fall in front of a Japanese maple tree in Aiken, SC. I was standing in my friend’s front yard as my daughter stood on a ladder and dropped leaves. I tracked the leaves as they fell. By using a slower shutter speed and intentional camera movement, I was able to get a more poetic feeling for the season than the typical fall photo.
