This painting, Beech Creek, was a fun excursion with color. Painted on a black matte gesso canvas, using heavy body acrylic paint applied with wooden dowels, the variety of colors and texture provide an illusion of fabric. Some may feel like they are seeing into a forest. This painting looks equally beautiful hanging vertically or horizontally, and, it goes with everything.
