This shallow bowl plays with how application of light can radically alter the appearance of glass art, creating almost a sense of two pieces in one. The duality of this piece was particularly appealing to me, since it highlights (literally) how our perception of an object, person, or idea can change once we take the time to illuminate and consider it carefully.
