Toes In/Tide Out

In a world full of difficulty, I strive to capture moments of beauty and peace.  “Toes In/Tide Out” evokes the tactile pleasures of the ocean’s edge and the release of stepping into it upon arriving at the beach. The ocean is depicted with pastels while the human elements are rendered in watercolor, acknowledging the subtle differences between the age-old rhythms of the sea and our worldly stress that’s “washed out with the tide.”
