Artist Description
Tiresias is inspired by the blind prophet of Greek mythology, whose insight came through transformation rather than sight. With closed eyes and strands of luminous color surrounding the figure, the drawing explores perception beyond the visible world. The flowing lines blur the boundary between hair, light, and thought, using color to suggest memory, intuition, and inner experience. Rather than portraying blindness as loss, the work considers it another way of seeing.
