Artist Description
I grew up in an old house with creaky floorboards. My sister’s room had flaky light blue wooden floors and the best view of the sunset. On days when we were getting along, I would stand by the window and we would chat as the last light of the day disappeared behind our neighbors house. On the days when we were not, I would creep in, knowing which floorboards to avoid, and watch alone. My sister has always been a puzzle to me. All those hours at her window I wasn’t just watching a sunset, I was trying to catch a fleeting glimpse of how she saw the world.
