I was working on and finishing this pastel drawing while my dad was declining and passed away. Despite that association I’ll have with it, it gives me joy to look at it. There’s beauty all around us and in the details. Though my dad went through pain, he’s joyful now. I’m calling this, There Will Be Joy in the Morning.
