Artist Description

This experimental piece aims to capture the strength of God’s connection through our brokenness. The elements come together by conveying an attracting force between shards and a glowing orb in the sense of objects in orbit. The orb is seen as a vibrant light that continuously brings the shards closer, even if some are distant and seemingly invisible. The painting was made from an underpainting of various colors mixed together that shows through the shards, alluding to the inner beauty that God’s creations were made with. This process symbolizes the truth that there is always beauty within us, even when we feel shattered by our brokenness; such a truth pulls us closer to Him as His love is an unbroken force.
