That’s How the Light Gets In

I created layers and textures to draw the viewer into the paintings details.  I used collage elements, geometric shapes, value contrast, line work, hard and soft edges to guide the viewer around the piece.  I started this painting with a color palette and then built layers and texture using papers.  I applied acrylic paint with silicone paint shapers, palette knives, brushes, rollers and also use a variety of drawing media.
