Sick Nights

“Sick Nights” is an oil painting on stretched canvas. This piece is part of a larger body of work I am currently creating about my journey through motherhood. The work aims to inspire and support other mothers during their experiences and hopefully make them feel less alone. For this painting in particular, I want to highlight the quiet nights of having a sick child because, most of the time, a mother’s work can go unnoticed. This is my way of giving a voice to mothers in the community.
