After visiting the Atlantic Ocean for the first time last year, I utilized my array of photos taken as references for the simple but cheery painting that
resulted from my trip. I worked towards capturing the gentle movements of the calm surface and the beautiful hues of the water as it meandered through inlets to the shore,
rebounding off the rockwalls as it made its way to lap against the sand. Seagulls were always present in my photos so rightfully I gave them a few spots for added interest.
