Ripples and Glitter

I created layers and textures to draw the viewer into the paintings details.  I used geometric shapes, value contrast, line work, hard and soft edges to guide the viewer around the piece.  I started this painting with a color palette and then built layers and texture.  I applied acrylic paint with silicone paint shapers, palette knives, brushes, and also used a variety of drawing media.
