Rhododendrons in Circle

In this piece, I use electrically anodized titanium to
create a vivid image of a flower. Anodization is the application of electricity
to titanium that produces a colored oxide layer. The surface preparation and
voltage determine the color of the oxide layer. The highly technical and
intensive process is used to produce a simple composition of a colorful flower.
