In this piece, I set out to capture the emotional atmosphere of looking out a car window during a heavy rainstorm. I was drawn to the way rain distorts light and blurs the world beyond the glass, creating a quiet, introspective moment of beauty and isolation. Through texture, color, and movement, I aimed to translate that fleeting, immersive experience into paint, evoking the stillness, melancholy, and wonder that such a simple moment can hold.
