I’ve always believed that you can easily associate people with a certain color of the rainbow. Whether you say they’re pink because it’s their favorite color, or they’re green because they like the outdoors, it is always obvious to me what color someone emits. For this piece, I wanted to show a visual representation of the hue people give off. The particular person I used as my reference is undoubtedly the human embodiment of yellow, so when I captured a picture of him dancing at a concert with a yellow spotlight hitting his face, I knew it was the perfect start for an art piece that would show his true character.
