Poinsett Bridge, located in Greenville County, is the oldest bridge in South Carolina. It was completed in 1820 and was part of the original road connecting Greenville to Asheville. The bridge has a Gothic-style arch and is made from locally quarried rock. This piece is an invitation for the viewer to explore what lies just beyond—beneath the bridge.
