Artist Description

There is a simple magic that permeates a couple who have loved each other a long time. Beauty and vitality isn’t just found in the passionate excitement, but also in the sacred sense of trust and openness of being together in a safe space. Even though these flowers that served as the inspiration for this painting were getting older and drooping over, I still found their aged folds and creases in a kind of delicate and quiet beauty. It is a testament to what remains even long after youth has faded but love is remembered.
