Lunch Rush

This piece is based on a photo I took during my study abroad in Cortona, Italy, a town that quickly became a second home. The small pizzeria pictured was a regular stop for me and my classmates. The food was simple and affordable, but the place was always full of energy, laughter, and the hum of daily life. I wanted to capture not just the storefront, but the warmth of those shared routines and the quiet significance of ordinary moments far from home.
