Artist Description
Two vertically hung panels depict a bed’s corner in a pea-soup-green room. In the top panel, two pink pillows, one pastel, one hot pink, lean against each other like two people. They rest on a dark green mattress. In the bottom left, a blanket corner extends into the lower panel. In the second panel, a nearly transparent, light-pink blanket falls to the floor, as if it had just been pushed back. Its edge leads to an open blue envelope lying next to the bedpost. The envelope, already read, feels forgotten, like feelings tossed aside. Together, the panels evoke a sense of misplacement and forgetfulness: an unmade bed, a letter on the floor.
