In a drunken stoppur, the viewer of the scene sees someone who stayed late for work, or at least that’s what he told his wife. The broken color creates a sense of chaos and uncertainty, analogous with his life. An empty tram is his last hope for a calm evening in the arms of the one he devoted his life to.
