This is a memory painting after I spent some time in Maine at the beginning of autumn. When I arrived, the trees were mostly still green, but there were small signs of the season changing with hints of warmth such as light greens and yellows and now and then a tree decided that it would go all in and display full tufts of oranges and reds. I was there for ten days or so and by the end, more than half of the greens had started to change to the full spectrum of fall colors.  It was magical to me as I am from tropical climate and only experience mostly one season.  In this painting I wanted to convey that feeling and memory of that time, through large shapes and gestures of those colors in contrast to the bright blue cloudless skies.
