Part of my ‘Abandoned Farmstead’ series depicting scenes of overgrown and unkept farmyards due to the decline of family run farms in my home state of
North Dakota. This is becoming a common landscape scene across the US as corporate farms takeover and edge out the smaller communities. This is a product
of my imagination, surrounded by deep shadows and glowing highlights as the sun begins to set on the prairie.
