This painting was started with an underpainting of collage. After affixing the papers of various thicknesses to the panel I applied gel medium to fill any edges. The overall design was created with inks and acrylic paint.

The palette is primarily cool with significant neutrals. The shapes are geometric giving the piece an architectural design. The work is about its texture, color and shapes.
