Artist Description

Forget Me Not Dreams is an illustration inspired by the dreams/aspirations and memories of being young. It is a reflection of my younger self and through this artwork and others like it I try to maintain a visual of my younger self and my imagination. It is impossible to remain unchanged/affected by new knowledge and the growth of aging but I can maintain or try to maintain the youth/imagination of my mind. I want to, as best I can, use my imagination like I did when I was young while making art. Even in my more “serious” or “professional” artworks I try to keep my rose colored imagination going. I do this by using bright colors, adding animals, or including fantastical elements in my artworks. The artwork here includes a young girl with her hand on the head of a grey wolf standing amidst a meadow of Forget Me Nots and other wildflowers that grow natively in Europe.
