Nine carousel horses escape from the confines of their carousel and set out on a uncertain journey, under the cover of night, towards becoming their true selves.

Carousel horses were a theme of my earliest work as a printmaker.  Back then, I stuck them on poles and painted them in bright colors.  When I retired from corporate life I decided to revisit them, but to express them in a way that was a parallel of my own tale of being tied to work and a lifetime of routines that I did well but did not love.
