I chose to paint some Eggs and Honey for a still life because of how much it felt like home – these two ingredients were always present in a full household. I used a grissaile scale for the eggs, plate, and honey pot with some yellow to make it lean towards a warmer grey. Other than that, I stuck to earthy pigments for the table and background to compliment the white.
