My fabric collage, Bubble Gum…….You’re Never too Old! was inspired by a photo I came across and I just loved this woman’s expression while blowing a pretty pink bubble.  My challenge with this piece was to create her eyes behind the tinted glasses and her facial expression, which are the most important parts of the collage. It did take a few tries but after adding many small fabric pieces to create lines and character, she finally came to life. 

I want the viewer to take a look, stand back, wonder, and smile!
