Abstraction del Dia

I enjoy impressionistic painting juxtaposed with the use of unconventional color. For this painting, the various forms of the flowers were inspired by a different piece of artwork. From there, the painting took on a layered approach. I essentially abandoned my usual impressionistic style for the first time. I embarked into the world of expressionism, even surrealism, to explore and attempt to emulate a medley of emotive thoughts.
