Artist Description
My work explores how mark making can emphasize emotion and meaning in a work of art through line quality, gesture, and color. I enjoy depicting places and landscapes, often weathered or abandoned, that have not only visually sparked interest, but have formed a much deeper emotional connection. Whether I have experienced these places for lengths of time or simply a fleeting moment, I want to memorialize these places before they are lost forever.
