This plein air painting is a view of my backyard created during the pandemic lockdown when I streamed the process online and stressed finding beauty and a sense of peace close to home. I used palette knives and large brushes to show contrast between the architectural elements of the house and patio furniture and the natural elements of the foliage and the curving path.
