Artist Description

“The Path To Gold” winds its way, offering a chance for something better and brighter, if we can just get there.

I use my local landscape and the memory of its feeling to guide my work. I see the forest and path as a metaphor to life’s journey and struggles. The forest can be dense and hard to navigate. The path can twist and turn, sometimes even be elusive, but we follow it in hopes it will lead to something better.

I use mark making, color, unique texture and tone made with cold wax and oils to tell my story.
