Between This and That is a hand-built ceramic sculpture that reflects the constant tension between opposing forces in life. Through texture, color, and organic form, the piece explores the space between security and uncertainty, logic and intuition, and past and future. Inspired by my experience of discovering ceramics while working in healthcare, the work reflects the challenge of balancing two very different worlds. Rather than choosing one over the other, it suggests that life is lived in a constant state of equilibrium, where growth happens in the space between both.
