Mixed-Media Sculpture with Eco-Dyed Textiles, Paper Cast, Encaustic Interfacing and Felted Fiber
Artist Description
What Opens Reaches considers opening as an act of growth. A contained form begins to separate and extend outward, its reaching elements suggesting roots, limbs or tendrils searching for connection. The opening becomes less a point of vulnerability than a necessary movement forward, where what was once held inside begins to enter and engage with the space around it.
