Artist Description
I was inspired by Monet for this piece. The purple background and purple Alyssum contrast yet compliment. I am moved by flowers and their ability to covey emotion in the viewer. I wanted these earrings to appear like a painting by having the details ever so slightly smudged and not too sharp.
