Carved red cedar and soapstone, on poplar base. It sits on the base in a purposely awkward position. I like my pieces to look like they might fall over. The strong yet simple dynamic movement of this piece is contrasted by the small rectiliniar piece of soapstone wedged between the red cedar forms.
